Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft)

After landing at the Tribhuwan International Airport, we will be greeted by a representative of Himalayan snow treks & expedition who will drop us off at our hotel. We then check-in at the hotel, freshen up and take a rest. In the evening, a welcome dinner will be hosted by Himalayan snow treks & expedition. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,550m/5,100ft): 7-8 hours


After having breakfast in the hotel we will drive from Kathmandu in the morning for Syabrubesi, village it is the starting point for treks into the Langtang valley. It takes us 8-9 hours drive. We will rest today in syabrubesi. It’s a long drive so today we will not walk much.

Day 03: Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,380m/7,830ft) 5-6 hrs

After registering and showing permits at Syabrubesi, and crossing the Bhote Kosi river, our second day involves a climb through scenic forests to Changtang, popularly known as Lama Hotel (2480m), via the villages of Doman, Pairo, Bamboo and Renche. We will rest today in Lama hotel.

Day 04: Lama Hotel to Langtang (4983m ascent) 4-5 hrs

The trail from Lama Hotel rises past small villages in the forest, before emerging into a classic U-shaped glacial valley. Before the quake, permits were checked at the army post just before Thangshyap, but all the settlements between Lama Hotel and Thangshyap were badly damaged by the tremors, and the section of trail beyond was obliterated by a vast landslide, which flattened the villages of Tsarding, Chamki, Gumba and Langtang, formerly the overnight stop for lama Hotel.we will walk for maximum 5-6 hours and reach to langtang village and overnight at langtang village.

Day 05: Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa (3870m/12696ft) 2-3 hrs

The trail onwards from Langtang climbs through increasingly rugged country through the small yak-herding villages of Mundu, Sindum and Yampha, eventually tracing the path of the Langtang Khola to Kyanjin Gompa (3870m) we will walk 2-3 hours to reach kyanjin Gompa. overnight at kyanjin Gompa.

Day 06: Acclimatization- Explore Tserko Ri (5000m/16,404ft) 7-8 hours

After having reached Kyanjin Gompa, we need a day rest for acclimatization most travelers take a few days to explore the surrounding valleys. One popular trail follows the Lirung Valley, which cuts a dramatic track to the north, framed by a line of peaks along the Tibetan border. Northeast of Kyanjin Gompa, the viewpoint at Kyanjin Ri (4600m) is still spectacular despite the disaster, as is the viewpoint at Tsergo Ri (4984m), a longer day-trip to the east. The two-hour trip to Tsona Lakes is a less energetic alternative.

We start our trek after breakfast and retrace our steps to Lama Hotel. Most of the trekking today will be downhill as we pass through forests and beautiful Tamang villages. We also get to enjoy different view of the Himalayas that we had missed climbing up. Overnight in Lama Hotel.

Day 08: Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi: 4-5 hours

We retrace our steps back to Syabrubesi. The trek will be easier as it will mostly involve descending. Overnight in Syabrubesi.

Day 9: Drive back Syabrubesi to Kathmandu

Your Plan

After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu. We spend the rest of the day packing and maybe catching up on some last-minute souvenir shopping. Himalayan Glacier will celebrate our successful trip in the Langtang Valley by hosting a farewell dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 10: Kathmandu Valley City Tour / Final Departure

After breakfast we start a cab tour to several of the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites including the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhunath) and Buddhist shrine (Bouddhanath), which is one of the largest stupas in the world. Final Departure or extend your stay.
